Belton, Columbia, and Fayette to Host
First Three Opportunities for Voters
With Incumbent Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler
and Entrepreneur Renee Hoagenson

COLUMBIA, MO – In only a few short weeks, the people of the 4th Congressional District of Missouri will go to the polls to select the voice they best deem fit to serve them in the United States House of Representatives. On September 17,18, and 19, the candidates will have their first three debates, in Fayette, Belton, and Columbia.

The Hartzler-Hoagenson debate schedule is as follows, with additional opportunities expected:
  • Sept. 17th – Fayette, MO – 7:00pm – Central Methodist University
  • Sept. 18th – Belton, MO – 7:00pm – High Blue Wellness Center
  • Sept. 19th – Columbia, MO – 7:00pm – University of Missouri
All debates are open to the public.

Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler has championed public debates, saying they are “a great dialogue.” Hartzler has also added, “Thomas Jefferson said the basis of our government is the opinion of the people… That is why town meetings are vital to our democracy.”

Entrepreneur Renee Hoagenson agrees, saying, “It’s important for voters to see first-hand the character of the candidates. You don’t get that on TV or online. You have to see it for yourself.”

Vicky Hartzler lives on a farm near Harrisonville. She has served as the Representative for the 4th Congressional district since 2011.

Renee Hoagenson lives in Columbia, where she has raised her three children.  An entrepreneur, Hoagenson recently sold her third start-up business.
